Camapania
Pompeii is an excavation site and outdoor museum of the ancient Roman settlement. This site is considered to be one of the few sites where an ancient city has been preserved in detail - everything from jars and tables to paintings and people were frozen in time, yielding an unprecedented opportunity to see how the people lived two thousand years ago.

Veneto
Venice , a monument to the glory days of the Renaissance, is still one of the most interesting and lovely places in the world. This sanctuary on a lagoon is virtually the same as it was six hundred years ago, which adds to the fascinating character.
Venice has decayed since its heyday and is heavily touristed (there are slightly more tourists than residents), but the romantic charm remains. The most charming places that can be discovered walking around the city: from Piazza San Marco to the Ghetto.

Basilicata
Matera is a fairly big city. One of its quarters is the old city. Just outside the old city are the Sassi - cave houses dug into the limestone rocks. The sassi are located on both sides of a valley. On the north side the Sasso Barisano have been partially commercially developed as offices and housing. The Sasso Caveoso, on the south side, are the most historically interesting. There are common hotels in Matera. But sleeping in the caves is a completely different experience.
